Job Title: Office Administrator  

We are looking for people to join our expanding manufacturing/distribution business, with the role of supporting our purchasing and sales executives. You will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff have adequate support to work efficiently. The ideal candidates will be competent in prioritising with a keen eye for detail and will be able to work in a team environment.

Job Functions to include:

  • Loading and checking of purchase/sales orders
  • The taking and distributing of incoming calls
  • Customer service
  • Giving tracking numbers/delivery dates to customers/staff
  • System stock changes/amendments
  • Support the finance department with invoice queries and discrepancies    
  • Ordering Internal Consumables
  • Intercompany Transactions
  • Booking Same Day and urgent couriers
  • Part No. Creation (Later on becoming BOM creation)
  • Chasing/monitoring active purchase orders
  • Other duties as assigned by the purchasing/sales teams
  • Maintain Covid-19 Compliance within the workplace

Skills Desired:

  • Experience in one or more of the below areas would be beneficial but training will be provided
  • Purchasing, logistics, sales, engagement, engineering, planner, buyer, procurement, product management

  • Attention to detail and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks
  • Must be analytical, observant, and communicative when it comes to the precise nature of their work
  • Works well in a team environment and as an individual
