Job Description

As a Junior Account Manager at Silverbug you will be responsible for being the first point of contact with existing Customers and prospects over the phone.

You will be targeted on maintaining the relationship with existing clients ensuring that they have a good Silverbug experience and upselling our range of products and services to existing Customers and prospects.

You will be a people person who naturally builds relationships with others and a key part of your role is to actively develop relationships with existing and prospect Customers. You will take ownership of Customer issues and needs through to resolution and you will be targeted on minimising churn. You will support your colleagues in the sales team as and when needed being there eyes and ears in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain good working relationships with your account portfolio
  • Upsell our range of products and services to existing Customers
  • Recognise, evaluate, and capitalise on potential opportunities for additional business within accounts
  • Identify, qualify, and quantify potential threats to accounts and recommend and implement action plans
  • Take ownership of customers issues or needs to ensure that all aspects are resolved and/or seen through to completion
  • Provide front line telephone support to the Sales Team if and when needed
  • Produce monthly report of activity against targets
  • Keep up to date on relevant industry and technology developments
  • To deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers within the boundaries of company processes and procedures

Person /Technical Spec

Must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year B2B telephone sales or account management experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
