Job Description

Social Care solutions (part of the Lifeways Group) are recruiting for Support Workers/Carers for both full and part time vacancies in the central Amersham area.


We require dedicated Individuals to work in our supported living services supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives.

We don’t require experience as full training is provided but we are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of the people we support!!!


Each service user has their own living area within the service building.

There is also a communal lounge area to meet up and chat with others in as well as a garden to relax in the summer months and do a spot of gardening where preferred.

You will support service users with all sorts of different activities including swimming, shopping, going for a coffee, going to the cinema, visiting zoos, clubs etc, so your work will be varied from day to day


You will also be expected to support the service user with general household chores such as cooking and laundry and housework such as hoovering and dusting. Please note that assisting with personal care such as bathing, toileting and feeding are part of the job role.
