An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Information and Reporting Systems Assistant to join the University’s Human Resources Department to cover a period of maternity leave.
You will be accountable for all administration relating to the employment lifecycle of employees and visiting staff using the Human Resources Information System, iTrent. This will include giving advice on using iTrent effectively, ensuring the successful utilisation of the ITrent system; assisting the HR Management Information & Reporting Systems Manager to engage with stakeholders internal and external to the HR Department, through training and coaching staff to use iTrent as a robust people management tool; running and providing routine reports from ITrent, using BOXI, for senior managers and the HR Team.
You will support the maintenance, updating and management of iTrent in a timely manner to ensure that data is accurate and up to date. You will also be capable of developing a good working knowledge of systems and processes to facilitate improvements.
Your role will include receiving and responding to queries; using established processes and your own judgment to resolve them.
We are looking for someone who has excellent IT skills, attention to detail and precision with outputs; excellent communication and customer service skills; has had previous experience of working within an office environment carrying out administrative type work; is able to plan and organise their workload effectively.
