The School of Computer Science and Technology is entering an exciting new phase of course development as part of the University of Bedfordshire’s expansion in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) courses. The teaching for this subject requires skills in properties and principles of fluid and flows, thermodynamics processes and systems relating to thermofluids.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering online and face-to-face teaching, designing online teaching materials, preparing and providing feedback on formative assessments, preparing the moderation, and marking. With a PhD or with equivalent professional experience in an appropriate subject area, you will be an excellent communicator, will enjoy working as part of a team and will be committed to your own personal development within your subject field.
We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience of teaching any of the core Mechanical and Automotive Engineering subjects; Fluid Mechanics; CFD, Thermofluid.
Familiarity with Blackboard and/or other online educational platforms is essential. Experience of online teaching and blended delivery, engagement with external partners and delivering HE provision across a distributed campus would be an advantage.
Teaching occurs at our campus location in Luton. Contract is made for at least 9 weeks starting begin of February 2021.
