Kingsbrook View Primary Academy is a new two form entry primary academy, offering places from nursery year 6, being built on the new Kingsbrook Housing Development situated on the outskirts of the County town of Aylesbury.

Kingsbrook View Primary Academy has a planned opening date of September 2021; the Academy will grow over the coming years with a final capacity of 472 places (420 places in key stage 1 and 2 and 52 nursery places).

Salary: L11 - L15 (£45,319 - £51,311)

Contract Type: Permanent 

Hours: Full time

Kingsbrook View Primary Academy will be a partner Academy within Inspiring Futures Partnership Trust and will work alongside Abbey View Primary Academy and Chepping View Primary Academy, both located in High Wycombe in the south of Buckinghamshire.

About the role

Kingsbrook View will offer a broad and ambitious curriculum which will include the opportunity for pupils to experience languages, the arts and will make excellent use of the rich natural environment in which it is situated for a Forest School programme.

The state-of-the-art building will include dedicate spaces for computing, cooking, technology and reading. All of these educational opportunities will be supported by outstanding core subject teaching and learning to ensure the children attending

Kingsbrook View are able to achieve their potential and become assets to society.

We will also ensure pupils have access to as many different extra-curricular activities as possible including playing an instrument, trying new sports or performing on stage, to name a few.

About you

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced individuals with a breadth of knowledge of primary education, preferably in opening or working in new academies, to create a strong vision and ethos and pro-actively lead the academy through its opening year and beyond.

An outstanding leader is required with the vision and energy to create a world-class learning environment at Kingsbrook View Primary Academy (KVPA), Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The Academy will be opening on the brand-new purpose-built site in September 2021 and will grow annually into a two-form entry combined academy with nursery provision for 3-4 year olds. The final number of primary aged pupils will be 420. The successful candidate will play a leading role in staffing, resourcing, engaging with the new community and preparing the new Academy for its September 2021 opening.
