Job Description

Overview

Apprenticeships

Rethink your next steps…….

If you’re 16 years old or over and keen to get into the workplace while still gaining qualifications, an apprenticeship with us could be perfect for you.

Our apprenticeships are designed to give you the hands-on experience needed in a real job that aims to bring out the best in you, with real responsibilities, real challenges, real projects and scope to grow your career.

About us

An apprenticeship with us could be the first step to a career in fields such as: HR, Business Support, Planning, Transport and the Environment, IT, Finance, or Customer Service.

Why become a BC apprentice?

You’ll earn a salary, and gain valuable, hands-on experience in a large business. Plus, we’ll support you as you study for a nationally-recognised qualification, and give you paid holidays.

Our apprenticeships generally last between 12-18 months, with time out of the workplace for study and assessments - so no evening or weekend study needed! During that time, you’ll also have our continual support and guidance.

We only ask that you’ve left full-time education and that you have the right to work in the UK.

Where it could lead

We’re one of the largest employers in the area, and careers with us are wide-ranging. 85% of our completing apprentices remain in employment with us, so it could be the start of a career in a variety of areas.

We offer new talent apprenticeships at Level 2 (GCSE equivalent), and Level 3 (A’ Level equivalent.) Depending on the job you get after completing, there are also opportunities to go on learning as we have apprenticeship training right up to Degree level!
