Milton Keynes Council are looking to recruit an individual for the role of Mechanical and Electrical Engineer. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and energetic individual to ensure that the buildings within the portfolio of responsibility for Property and Facilities Management are put and kept to a required standard of general maintenance including health and safety and statutory compliance

Key Duties

  • To deliver successful maintenance related outcomes via a comprehensive knowledge of the design, installation and management of infrastructure services for a variety of properties across a diverse portfolio. To lead on the technical design and development stage of projects, further assisting in supporting the implementation of projects and tasks into the business areas.

Experience, Qualifications and any Mandatory Requirements

  • Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering degree Accredited by either IET and/or IMechE and relevant experience (minimum of 6 years) – Chartered Engineer
  • Significant and proven knowledge and working experience of electrical or mechanical engineering;

Skills Required

  • Significant experience of working with manufactures drawings, builders work information and detail
  • Significant experience of ICT software Autocad, BIM and design software
  • A good knowledge of the wider building services industry
