As a business, Mears has made progress in meeting the sustainability and carbon neutral agenda. However, we recognise that there is much more we need to do and there is further progress to be made in terms of our capability to design, deliver and manage carbon related solutions for us as an organisation and to provide specialist support for our clients.
In order to address this, we are looking to develop the capacity within our business to develop our strategy and approach to enable us to take the required actions. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability & Improvement, we are looking for an innovative self-starter who can develop and steer the following initial priorities:
The initial focus will be to review our current approach as an organisation and existing capability in delivering services to clients in order to create a clear Sustainability and Carbon Neutral Strategy and delivery plan.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop the role and be at the forefront of building our capability and a team to meet the needs of the business and our clients now and in the future. You will be able to influence the future sustainability approach of both Mears as an organisation and how we provide support to our wide network of clients across the UK.
