Our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) works across Milton Keynes and applies multi-disciplinary expertise to identify and prioritise children and young people where there is a risk of significant harm and assign them to an appropriate professional for assessment. Along with being the front door to Children's Social Care we complete Children and Families Assessments and undertake S47 investigations. Following assessment, cases then move on from MASH. This post also attracts a Retention Bonus of £4000 per year, exact details will be provided in interview.

Key Duties

• Social work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, Degree in social work or equivalent)
• Ability to analyse, summarise and write/ record relevant information clearly and concisely so that it is easily understood by users and colleagues
• Demonstrable ability to take proactive action to resolve complex issues and problems in high risk situations
• Must be self- motivating and able to work on own in complex environment
• Able to supervise and support of staff and evaluate their work practice

Experience, Qualifications and any Mandatory Requirements

• Social Work degree
• Registered with Social Work England
