Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Administrator to join the team. The successful candidate will collect and monitor all Production data for technicians, including: operations, due dates, targets and non-conformances.

There will be full training given to the successful candidate upon starting in the role, so you do not need to have prior experience of the industry. We are looking for someone with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and a can-do, helpful attitude who can support our department manager.

Job Purpose

To support the department manager by proactively analysing and feeding back information that may influence future planning of work, reporting on technicians’ targets and whether these have been achieved, ensuring planned operations data is accurate at all times and having ownership of our finishing bonus records, ensuring these are up to date and accurate.

Main Duties

  • Weekly reporting on job completion, producing/monitoring various KPIs
  • Provide feedback on job status for each technician
  • Monitor re-work time logged after internal non-conformances are raised and their effect on payroll and business cost
  • Populate the finishing bonus report in line with documented guidelines
  • Highlight performance of technicians using established guidelines to the department manager, ensuring progress or issues are raised in a timely manner
  • Assist the department manager in maintaining target sheets and provide a daily update on status

Responsibilities & Competence

  • Ownership of monitoring of Production deadlines, non-conformances and target sheets;
  • Accurate delivery of data to the Management and Payroll teams;
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • Ownership of tasks from start to finish;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage own workload;
  • Strong Excel (formulas) and analytical skills.
