We are seeking a strong, focussed commercial head of Network to build the pipeline of land, destination and partner deals delivering against the growing UK EV charging infrastructure. Focussing on delivering a strong pipeline from prospect to converted contract, the role objective is to build a long-term growth strategy.

The Head of Commercial Network Development will mange a team of commercially minded network development managers and present the ability to onboard, upskill and develop a brand-new commercial team. Part of the role will also be to identify and secure new business across destination, partner and land opportunities and seek opportunities for additional network growth; review existing sale approach/processes and develop new ones with clear methodology to implement operational changes

Qualifications

The knowledge and experience you will have accomplished for this role:

  • At least 2-3 years prior of strategic commercial sales and negotiation experience
  • Proven capability to operate and bring success in highly demanding and complex business, with ability to manage customer expectations
  • Communication skills – listen, understand, empathise, solve, advise, act, own a situation
  • Strong confidence and leadership, with entrepreneurial approach to continual improvement
  • Ability to network internally and externally
  • Organised, prepared and planned for success
  • Great understanding of excel, reporting and presenting
  • Expertise in strong interface and relationship building with external parties and senior internal stakeholders and in generating win/win situation
  • High degree of flexibility to adapt to what is a fast-changing environment and therefore to manage a degree of ambiguity
  • Ambitious and target focussed with a drive to succeed
  • Knowledge of the EV or Automotive sector is advantageous
