Job Description

As a Logistics and Fabrications Assistant you will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, assisting directly all the daily warehouse tasks. Assiting Logistics and Fabrication will also include leading the warehouse team in the absence of the supervisor and constant communication with all the other departments.

Responsibilities Include

  • Checking accuracy of all deliveries to customers (domestic, export, industrial, projects), minimise errors in picking, packing and loading
  • Assisting with the daily logistics and planning deliveries most effectively with the supervisor
  • Talking to Logistic companies, customers and providing high standard of customer service
  • Following accurate procedures for all main control processes and functions and checking if followed by the warehouse team
  • Reporting mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies
  • Ensuring all stock is located in the correct place
  • Supporting tight timescales and given deadlines
  • Helping with custom clearance and documentation
  • Maintaining high level of helath & safety standards
  • Communicating internally about incoming and outgoing deliveries, delays, logistic issues, etc
  • Prefabricating and cutting Sikla material according to drawings
  • Helping with processes improvement
  • Overseeing the daily warehouse duties: picking, packing and prefabricating
  • Quality checking for goods in and goods out
  • Using ERP system for standard processes in the warehouse
  • Offloading and unpacking goods
  • Motivating and leading smaller teams

  • Good analytical and numerial skills
  • Understanding of goods in & goods out controls and management systems
  • Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiave and drive under tigh timescales
  • Able to take accountability

  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working within a warehouse and/or steel fabricaton environmnent - minimum 3 years
  • Secondary School or equivalent
  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft office and CRM Systems
  • Experienced forklift driver (4-way forklift)
  • Clean class 2/C driver license
