We are recruiting Prescribers with unscheduled/emergency care experience to join the Clinical Advisory Service team, based from Peterborough. If you are passionate about helping others and are patient centred, we want to hear from you.
The Role:
As part of the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) team, with GP colleagues and Pharmacists you will form part of a wider Clinical workforce team. You will will carry out complex clinical triage over the phone in a sensitive manner, providing assessment and advice to patients and other health care professionals.
Practicing with your scope of practice, to assess undifferentiated and underdiagnosed problems using clinical skills via the telephone, including video consultation.
Managing the case list effectively, to reduce demand on face-to-face services including ambulance dispositions, A&Es, Urgent Care Centres and OOHs.
The patient groups include infants, elderly care and end of life.
Working as part of a 24/7 multi disciplinary team, hours include evenings and weekends. Contracted hours and bank opportunities are available.

On-boarding Process:
If successful, you will be paid to complete a full day’s induction, which will include system training, followed by a number of buddy shifts to prepare you for the role.
