Job Description

The Administrator is responsible for providing a comprehensive business administration service to support both the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) and Substance Misuse services, delivered by Forward at HMP The Mount. The IAPT element of the service is designed to support prisoners with low level mental health needs. The Substance Misuse Service element is designed to deliver psychosocial interventions, clinical interventions and accredited treatment programmes for offenders coming into prison that are identified as having a drug or alcohol problem.

You will be responsible for contributing and monitoring the targets set by Forward and the local commissioners and Public Health England. One of the key targets will be measuring outcomes, so co-operative working relationships with other partner agencies is vital to this role (example clinical teams). 

 

Whilst encompassing various administrative duties, the post holder will ensure that the data is accurate and complete, establishing processes that ensure maximum data quality. The purpose of this role is to ensure data accuracy, data entry collection, data validation and monitoring systems, whilst ensuring that administrative procedures for the both IAPT and Substance Misuse services is adequate to ensure efficient performance of both teams.

 

This role is 16 hours per week. 

What we are looking for 

  • An intermediate to advanced certification or demonstrable experience in Microsoft packages
  • A minimum of one year’s experience of providing administrative support within a large team, demonstrating ability to work in a pressured environment.
  • Previous work experience of accurately collating statistical information and managing administrative tasks, with an attention to detail and report writing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal with people of all levels and to work on own initiative in preparing correspondence.
  • Willingness to develop an understanding of the aims of Forward and support the organisations ethos.
