Job Description

Working in the Client Engagement Team at Bluecube you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of relationship management to our existing clients.

There are a variety of elements that make up the role, the most important of which is having an in-depth understanding of our clients.

You will need to provide industry best practice advice and guidance as well as being able to translate information between our various technology teams and our clients. You will be holding regular, structured service review meetings with our clients and ensuring that you are fully embedded with what our clients need from us as their managed service provider. You will take pride in building and developing these relationships with our clients.

Although primarily a Microsoft house, you will also be dealing with a variety of technology vendors, especially those focused on cloud services. Ideally, you will have familiarity and experience delivering IT services in the MSP environment.

The role is commercially focused, we believe that strong relationships drive strong performance and that business strategy & technology go hand-in-hand. Therefore, an awareness of the technologies we use will support your strong commercial acumen.

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated candidate who has previous experience within a similar role and can demonstrate this experience. We expect candidates to have excellent attention to detail, to be eloquent communicators who also see themselves as an active participant in the IT industry.

Primary Responsibilities

  • To manage and strengthen relationships with the existing Bluecube clients using a pro-active, astute yet personable approach to all communication.
  • To pro-actively grow the revenue received from our clients in a positive, accurate and ethical manner always acting in the best interests of the client.
  • To carry out regular face-to-face service reviews and strategic meetings with our clients and to advocate for our clients internally keeping service quality as the priority.
  • To maintain clear, timely and accurate communication internally as well as externally.
  • To genuinely own your client relationships and take responsibility for providing the very best service you can.

Background & Skills

You should be the sort of person who loves interaction with other people and that genuinely cares about relationship building. This role involves travel to client sites.

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Proven experience dealing with Microsoft technologies
  • Confidence in a client facing role with an ability to present
  • Previous experience working in the IT services industry
  • Outstanding time management and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Familiarity with using CRM
  • Strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Friendly, confident, and professional telephone manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Desire to provide outstanding customer service to our clients
  • Care and a desire to work with people
  • Commercial awareness


  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies
  • Previous experience working within an MSP


  • £35,000-£45,000 per annum + uncapped OTE
