We are looking for a Software Product Assurance Quality Engineer to join Airbus Defence & Space in Stevenage. You will report to the local Head of Equipment Quality. The successful candidate will liaise with the customer representatives and Airbus subcontractors, providing opportunities to grow their network and experience within the space industry. The Software Quality Engineer has the authority to resolve all matters pertaining to quality including the right to suspend any activities that appear to jeopardise the quality of the program until a satisfactory resolution has been achieved and will be indirectly responsible for the extended team of QA engineers and specialists in the field of Software engineering quality and Functional Avionics and report into the project core team the status of their activities. We are looking for a Digital Test Design Engineer to join Airbus Defence & Space in Stevenage working within the Digital Product Validation team. This team is responsible for the architecture/design of test systems that verify and validate the operation and performance of various digital products that we design and build. These test systems rely heavily on application software development to control and configure the digital product and also to optimise the process of validation/verification testing in a robust and repeatable manner. You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
